A field research project were RFID tags where used to create a better experience while shopping.
Customers where able to find information on the phone about the particular product they where hovering over with the phone - following a interview about this experience.
My role was conducting the user interviews, making sure it was a conversation that lend itself to revealing information and understanding mobile behavior.
Performing user research in the clothing shop, was very insightful. Understanding the context of a sometimes very busy store, and the influence of shopping behavior on new technology. We found, that there is a clear opportunity for a closer connection between the product and the consumer - throughout the shopping experience.
The setting allowed for a lot of quick feedback on the technology by customers who visited the store, and interesting conversations - on how future shopping experiences could be.
